The new Spring/Summer 2016 collection from Le Tricot Perugia emphasis on two metallic colors: gold and silver. Worn with these colors would be white, beige, gray with light green and blue of various shades.
The collection plays with new shapes such as culotte pants and large skirts worn with small tops or short, fitted jackets with embroidery, or with a Chanel sweatshirt, or a Jacquard. The new collection has various dresses: long or knee-length, flared or tunic. Lots of variety with necklines: a wide “V”, polo, boat neckline with various pairings from form-fitting to large that tightens at the hem, or an a-line and twin set with small fit.
The main tops in the collection appear to create a three dimensional effect even with mesh tops. The manner would be to mix various fabrics, for example, a cotton base linen combined with a medley of straw or a mixed string combined with metallic wire creating a network.
The knitwear plays with pairing other materials such as satin or jersey. Between the new threads there is a slub yarn worked in rows, a transparent viscose yarn and a cotton yarn worked in by skilled hands.
In the collection there are many prints that reflect back on the colors in the knitwear. The reasoning varies from designing cashmere color palettes to designing ethnics in blues reminiscent of Majolica tiles, to multicolored polka-dots showing in more fabrics.
The inspiration of the collection was one day on the French Riviera breathing in the flair of the 70’s. The collection faces to meet a self-confident woman who lives for fashion and dresses for every occasion with only the finest of fabrics.
